Too Many Distractions in the Timberwolves Camp?
Star Tribune has a story today on the current state of the Minnesota Timberwolves and season expectations.
Other sources discuss some of the distractions this team is dealing with as the season starts; namely Sam Cassell and Latrell Sprewell's contract extension issues.
Saunders said that any disruptions so far -- such as Sprewell's contract-extension displeasure or Cassell's one-day holdout for similar consideration -- have been mostly smoke.

Yahoo has the following quote in today's preview of tonight's game against the New York Knicks:
Sprewell described the team's latest offer, reported to be worth between $27 million and $30 million over three years, as ``insulting.''
Arguably, a lot of other players would not be insulted with this kind of offer at age 34. What do you think? Is this an investment the Timberwolves need to make to keep chances of winning a championship alive this season?
